By accessing or using AIArtLens(the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Educational Use Only

AIArtLens is an educational platform intended to help users learn Indian classical dance forms. All AI-generated scores and coaching feedback are for learning guidance only and do not constitute professional instruction, medical advice, or any form of certified assessment.

2. Webcam & Camera Access

Certain features require access to your device camera. You may revoke this permission in your browser settings at any time. We never record, store, or transmit your video feed. All pose processing happens entirely within your browser.

3. Acceptable Use

• •Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform.
• •Do not submit harmful, abusive, or unlawful content via contact forms.
• •Do not use the Service for commercial resale without written permission.

4. Intellectual Property

All curriculum content, lesson text, and AI scoring logic is the intellectual property of AIArtLens. Guru Krupa Majithia retains all rights to her instructional methodology and teaching materials.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, accuracy of AI scores, or improvement in dance proficiency.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AIArtLens shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including physical injury from following movement instructions without proper warm-up.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

We take your privacy seriously. This policy explains what data is collected, how it is processed, and your rights.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• •Your webcam video feed — pose detection runs entirely in your browser via MediaPipe WebAssembly. No frames leave your device.
• •Personal identity — no account creation, no name, no login required to use the platform.
• •Payment information — no transactions are processed at this time.

What Passes Through (But Is Not Stored)

• •Session score summaries (numeric values only: pose %, footwork %, overall %) — sent transiently to our server API solely to call the Gemini AI. We do not log, save, or retain these numbers after the API response is returned.
• •Contact emails — if you email us directly, your message lives in our email inbox only. It is not stored in any database.

Third-Party Services

• •Google Gemini API — anonymised session scores are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate coaching feedback. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• •Vercel — the platform is hosted on Vercel. Vercel may collect standard infrastructure logs. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy.
• •MediaPipe — runs entirely client-side via WebAssembly. No data is sent to Google by MediaPipe during pose detection.

Cookies & Local Storage

We do not use tracking cookies or analytics cookies. The browser may store cached MediaPipe model files in local cache to speed up future sessions.

Your Rights

Because we store no personal data, there is nothing for us to delete or hand over on request. If you emailed us and want that email thread deleted, write to majithia.k.r@gmail.com and we will delete it from our inbox. For any data held by Vercel or Google (infrastructure logs), refer to their respective privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

This Service is not directed at children under 13. Because we collect no personal data, there is no child data to delete. If a child emailed us, contact us and we will remove that email from our inbox.

AIArtLens uses artificial intelligence — specifically Google Gemini and MediaPipe pose estimation — to provide dance coaching feedback. Please read the following carefully.

Scores Are Approximate

All pose quality scores, tatkar rhythm percentages, and overall grades are computed by algorithmic heuristics applied to body landmark coordinates. They are indicative guides, not certified assessments. Camera angle, lighting, clothing, and occlusion all affect accuracy.

Feedback Is AI-Generated

The “Guru ji’s Feedback” text shown after each session is generated by Google Gemini 2.0 Flash based on your numeric session scores. It is not reviewed by a human teacher before display. For authoritative guidance, please book a class with Guru Krupa Majithia directly.

Not a Substitute for Human Teaching

Classical Indian dance is a living tradition transmitted through the Guru–Shishya relationship. AIArtLens is a supplementary practice tool. It does not replace the nuance, spiritual depth, or personalised attention of a qualified human Guru.

Physical Safety

Always warm up before practice. Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort. AIArtLens is not liable for physical injury arising from dance practice.
